Follow the Rainbow Lake Trail from Pine Lake Road to reach this serene backcountry camping spot on the shore of Rainbow Lake, surrounded by spruce trees. A picnic table and food cache are located on site but there is no potable water.
This wilderness tenting site is on the south bank of the Peace River and features an outhouse, picnic table and fire pit. It is accessible by canoe (approx. 11-hour paddle) or boat from Peace Point (and from Fort Chipewyan by boat), or by floatplane.
This tranquil campground features basic treed sites with tent pads, picnic tables and fire pits. Tank water is available but there are no showers on site. The campground is located off Pine Lake Road, approximately 60 km south of Fort Smith. Guests are required to self-register. The campground is open from the May long weekend to the September long weekend.
Catering to large groups, the Kettle Point Group Camp on the southern shore of Pine Lake offers a tenting area, large log shelter, picnic tables, outhouses, a playground and fire circle. The campground is wheelchair accessible and is open from the May long weekend to the September long weekend. Reservations are required.
