Native Cultural Arts Museum 15 km north on Secondary Hwy 750 off of Hwy #2 travelling west. This area and Grouard is one of the oldest settlements in Alberta. Visit the Native Cultural Arts Museum for the history of Grouard and view displays of North American Native art works and artifacts. Located in the Northern Lakes College' Moosehorn Lodge. Included in tours is the St. Bernard Mission Church was built in 1901 by Father Emile Grouard. The church houses old liturgical vestments as well as artifacts and is still in use. Sunday services. Located at the west end of Lesser Slave Lake. There is a small fee for school groups and pre-bookings must be made. Fall/Winter/Spring Hours (September through May):
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
Summer Hours(June through August): Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Closed for lunch). Please call ahead. Closed during December.
